Duchess of Cambridge goes for blue as the royal family leave Poland for Germany
The royal family have left Poland as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge along with their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, prepare for three more days of touring.
They have landed in Berlin ready to be greeted by Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Kate chose a royal blue Catherine Walker coat dress with a pleated skirt, paired with her trusty suede Gianvito Rossi heels. Underneath the button-up look was a paler blue dress that appeared to be a lot shorter than anything the Duchess has sported before.
Princess Charlotte matched her mother in an adorable blue-and-white printed dress with Prince George in his usual shirt and shorts combo.
The two royal toddlers seemed eager to get away with George pulling at his father’s hands as they prepared to board their private plane. Two-year-old Charlotte even took a tumble at the top of the steps.
After meeting Angela Merkel, William and Kate will head to Berlin’s most famous landmark, the Brandenburg Gate.
They will then take a tour of the Holocaust museum before visiting the eastern part of the city to meet with a young person’s charity.
This evening, the couple will attend another birthday party held in honour of the Queen.
Yesterday, the Duke and Duchess met with two survivors of the Holocaust at a former Nazi concentration camp. Kate chose a floral two-piece by Erdem for the occasion.
