David Beckham buys Brooklyn and Nicola a £500,000 vintage Jaguar as wedding gift
David Beckham splashed out £500,000 on a vintage car as a wedding gift for son Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, as he is now known, and his bride Nicola Peltz Beckham.
The retired football star, 46, gifted the newlyweds the Jaguar XK120 which has has been fully restored, modernised and electrified.
The impressive light blue open-top two-seater features a restored and upcycled light cream interior.
This clean-air classic, bespoke commissioned by Beckham is the product of thousands of hours of work from the company’s 120-strong team of craftspeople, designers and Electric Vehicle technicians and was built entirely in-house at the home of Lunaz in Silverstone, England. Beckham is an investor in the company.

David Lorenz, Founder & CEO of Lunaz said: “In creating this beautiful, electrified Jaguar XK140, we are honoured to bridge the gap between David Beckham’s professional life, where he is an investor in Lunaz and his family life.
“This remarkable car is the perfect gift to his son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law, Nicola on their wedding day. In every respect, this extraordinary electric classic car by Lunaz symbolises a bright, positive future.”
The ex-England captain clearly couldn’t resist a spin himself as he and his fashion designer wife Victoria, 47, are believed to have used it to make their grand entrance at the nuptials in Palm Beach, Florida, on Saturday.
His son and his new wife were then spotted driving it around the day after.

The fact the car is electrified is bound to impress Brooklyn, 23, as he has been vocal in the past about his concern for the environment.
Photographer and chef Brooklyn warned climate change was “causing irreversible damage to our planet” after interviewing a green campaigner for an Instagram video.
He added: “Climate change is obviously something that is freaking a lot of people out. It’s made me want to help.”
Brooklyn is also an environmental ambassador for the global campaign #TOGETHERBAND though he later came under fire for joining his family on a private jet from London to Miami at Christmas.
