Brie Larson, Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson work daring thigh high slits at 'Avengers' premiere

Brie Larson made a bold fashion statement in a thigh high slit dress at the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ world premiere.

And the 29-year-old actor wasn’t the only one opting for the daring look, with co-star Scarlett Johansson and former Marvel film lead Natalie Portman sporting similar leg slits on the red carpet.

The thigh-high slit is a Hollywood style move popularly associated with actor Angelina Jolie, who graced the 2012 Oscars with her now-famous leg.

It is unclear whether the actors planned to coordinate their looks or it was a coincidence.

However, they all worked the iconic trend in individual ways.

Larson opted for a custom-made satin Celine gown with a plunging neckline.

She paired it with gold earrings, a cuff and multiple rings custom-made by jeweller Irene Neuwirth, to resemble the Avengers ‘Infinity Gauntlet’.

This isn’t the first time Larson has paid homage to her Marvel character on the red carpet: she wore a caped Valentino look while doing publicity for another of the franchise’s films, ‘Captain Marvel’, back in February.

Meanwhile, 34-year-old Johansson, who attended with partner Colin Jost, wore a figure-hugging gold Versace look with a bustier style top.

Portman, meanwhile, wore a more demure Dior look with a full-length skirt and buttoned-up collar.

A surprise guest at the premiere, Portman has previous history with the Marvel franchise. She formerly starred as Jane Foster in the first two Thor films, ‘Thor’ (2011) and ‘Thor: The Dark World’ (2013).
