Would you be brave enough to sport leopard print hair?

Instagram has spawned plenty of trends from bizarre face masks to glittery bums.

But the latest trend to overtake the platform is hair-related. And pretty hard to miss.

Leopard print hair is being seen across the streets of London thanks to Erik Pascarelli: a hairstylist at the famous Bleach London salon.

Women – many with buzzcuts – have asked Pascarelli to give them the spot treatment.

So how do you go about getting the leopard look?

In an interview with Marie Claire, Pascarelli reveals all. First, hair must be bleached in order to create a clean base. Then, your luscious locks are toned to a light ‘bronde’ shade.

After the base is complete, Pascarelli uses black and brown dyes to painstakingly create each leopard spot.

Unfortunately, the dye job doesn’t work too well on longer hair as the pattern can become distorted.

Luckily, you don’t have to go full Kristen Stewart to get the look.

If you have slightly longer hair, Pascarelli suggests using a leopard print stencil and coloured hairspray to recreate the pattern for a one-off event.

Tip: invest in a colour shampoo if you want your leopard hair to last as long as possible.
