Beyonce and daughter Blue Ivy twin in Alexander McQueen at star-studded Lion King premiere
Beyonce matched her custom-made Alexander McQueen outfit with her daughter Blue Ivy’s last night at ‘The Lion King’ premiere.
The 37-year-old musician and entrepreneur, who voices Nala in the long-awaited remake, clutched her seven-year-old daughter’s hand as the pair walked down the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, US.
The mother-daughter duo wore sequin-encrusted suit jackets by Alexander McQueen, which had sequin-covered full-length tulle skirts.

Beyonce accessorised her jacket with statement jewellery, a beaded clutch bag and sequinned open-toe sandals.
She also wore her hair in a braided style with a deep side part.
Meanwhile, Blue Ivy – who is older sister to twins Rumi and Sir – wore a buns hairstyle and a white shirt beneath her jacket.
This isn’t her first red carpet debut, however. Who can forget Blue Ivy appearing to “shush” parents Beyonce and Jay-Z during her appearance at the Grammy Awards last year?
She also attended the CFDA Awards with Beyonce in 2016, and the MTV Awards in the same year.
The star was supported at the premiere by her former Destiny’s Child bandmates Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland.
Williams wore an Atelier Zuhra dress, while Williams tapped into the animal theme in a Prabal Gurung minidress.

Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino, who voices Simba in ‘The Lion King’ film, wore a checked Gucci suit for the event.
Seth Rogen stood out from the crowd in a clashing prints shirt with a black suit.
‘This Is Us’ star Chrissy Metz was also in attendance, together with actress Tiffany Haddish who wore a Libertine suit.
‘The Lion King’ will be released in cinemas across the UK on 19 July 2019.
