86-year-old Rita Moreno re-wears 1962 Oscars gown to this year's Academy Awards
Actress Rita Moreno chose the dress she first wore to the Oscars in 1962 for this year’s Academy Awards red carpet – and she looked just as incredible 56 years later.
The 86-year-old first wore the gown when she won the Best Actress going for her role in West Side Story.
This year, the dress had a slightly altered neckline, but the distinctive gold-patterned skirt was exactly the same.
She paired the dress with elbow-length opera gloves, a chic black hairband and statement necklace.
Moreno teased her outfit choice with a tweet before the ceremony.

And her daughter then revealed that her mother, who is currently starring the Netflix series One Day at a Time, would be recycling her ’60s outfit.
Speaking to Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet, Moreno said: ‘It’s been hanging in my closet.’
At the ceremony she presented the Oscar for best foreign language film, which was won by ‘A Fantastic Woman’.
This year’s Oscars saw Gary Oldman earn his first Oscar for his portrayal of Prime Minister Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour.
The British star, 59, picked up the best actor prize for his turn in Darkest Hour, while Frances McDormand won the best actress gong for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
The Shape Of Water picked up four of the 13 Oscars it was nominated for, including best director for Guillermo del Toro and the night’s biggest prize, best picture.
Get Out director Jordan Peele became the first black writer to win the best original screenplay for his social satire, as British cinematographer Roger Deakins finally clinched a gold statue for his work on Blade Runner 2049 on his 14th nomination.
The Time’s Up and Me Too movements, prompted by the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment scandal, were given the spotlight during a moving segment of the ceremony, while Salma Hayek, Ashley Judd and Annabella Sciorra, who are all Weinstein accusers, appeared on stage together.
