Xavier Musketeers are among final schools for 4-star, 2025 shooting guard Amari Evans

Amari Evans, who recently moved up his official visit to Xavier by two weeks and was on campus earlier this month, is down to three schools.

Evans, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Overtime Elite in Atlanta, is a four-star recruit and the No. 11 overall prospect in Georgia for the Class of 2025, according to 247Sports.

Evans trimmed an offer sheet of 18 schools to three on Friday, including the Xavier Musketeers along with the Tennessee Volunteers and Pittsburgh Panthers, according to a report from On3 Sports.

Evans is expected to announce his decision Nov. 1, according to On3 Sports. Multiple recruiting services predict Evans to land with the Volunteers.
