Evans, a Pittsburgh native who plays for Overtime Elite in Atlanta, is ranked by 247Sports as a four-star prospect guard. According to 247Sports' Composite Rankings, Evans is the No. 16 shooting guard in the nation and the No. 10 recruit in Georgia for the Class of 2025.
Xavier has been recruiting Evans for over a year, offering the 6-foot-5, 200-pound guard in July 2023.

Evans has a lengthy offer sheet that includes nearly 20 Division I programs. In July, he included Xavier in his top 10, along with Big East rivals Georgetown and Villanova.
Evans has now taken three official visits after a trip to Tennessee in August and Ole Miss earlier this month.
According to On3 Sports' predictions, Xavier is third in the running for Evans at 15.4%, trailing Tennessee (23.8%) and Pittsburgh (27.2%). On3 lists Evans as the No. 14 player in Georgia for the Class of 2025.
