The 107,315 fans in attendance at Kyle Field last Saturday ended up disappointed, as Texas A&M lost to Notre Dame 23-13 in their season opener. The maroon and white faithful will look to soothe that ache by putting the beat down on McNeese State this Saturday.

The good news for those without tickets: a seat at Kyle Field is selling for a measly $5 on SeatGeek as of Wednesday. With McNeese being a non-Power Four school, the Aggies will be favored to pick up their first win of the season.

While Texas A&M's defense held up for most of the game, the Irish's defense proved too much for new coach Mike Elko and A&M quarterback Connor Weigman. The signal caller passed for 100 yards and two interceptions, with running back LeVeon Moss scoring the Aggies' lone touchdown of the day.

Other news from the game is that starting center Mark Nabou Jr. will miss the rest of the 2024 season after tearing his ACL vs. Notre Dame. The Aggies will turn to Koli Faaui as their new center. The Utah transfer started 13 games at center last year for the Utes and played a few snaps for Nabou after he was initially injured last week.
