Steelers get good news on Isaac Seumalo injury
Isaac Seumalo will not be among the offensive linemen that suit up when the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Falcons in Atlanta on Sunday. However, Mike Tomlin said in his Week 1 preview press conference that the team recently got good news on the status of his pectoral strain, which he sustained in practice on Aug. 28.
Tomlin did not go into detail about that good news but labeled Seumalo as week-to-week.
Second-year lineman Spencer Anderson, who took second-team reps at training camp, will likely get the nod during Seumalo's absence.
Mike Tomlin says Isaac Seumalo is out this week, but he's "week to week" and said he expects him to be back "sooner rather than later" after getting good news on his pec injury.
