COLUMBIA — It's was a busy offseason for coach Shane Beamer and South Carolina football, as 19 high school players committed to the Gamecocks before the 2024 season began.

South Carolina added two four-star recruits in October already, including Jordon Gidron who reclassified to 2025, and Malik Clark who flipped his commitment to South Carolina from Florida State.
