Rich Eisen ranks Tennessee Titans as top sleeper team in the NFL

Don't sleep on the Tennessee Titans, at least according to one longtime NFL media member.

Rich Eisen said on the "Rich Eisen Show" Tuesday that the Titans are his No. 1 sleeper team for the 2024 season.

The NFL Network host went through his five sleeper teams on his syndicated television show, including the Commanders, Cardinals, Vikings and Raiders. The Titans landed atop the list, thanks in part to the additions in free agency and first-year coach Brian Callahan.

A "sleeper" team, according to Eisen, is one that most people aren't talking about nationally and that didn't make the playoffs last year. The Titans fit the criteria.

"I don't know if they are going to make the playoffs because the conference is really tough, but I'm going there," Eisen said. "...This guy, Brian Callahan, is from the McVay tree, people. His dad is there coaching up the offensive line. I know everybody thinks Derrick Henry is gone, (so the running game) is going to be garbage."

"I don't know about (the AFC South), but I just think they're going to be better than you think."

Eisen also cited the wide receiver room, Will Levis in Year 2 and Jeffery Simmons as other reasons why the Titans will surprise in 2024.

Later, Eisen mentioned the Bears as a NFC Championship Game sleeper, which sets up quite the sleeper-filled matchup in Week 1 when Tennessee travels to Chicago.
