Is North Texas the trickiest matchup on Memphis football's remaining schedule?

Memphis football is preparing for a critical game against North Texas.

The Tigers (5-1, 1-1 AAC) will host North Texas (5-1, 2-0) on Saturday (6:30 p.m., ESPNU) in a critical conference matchup. Memphis has to win the rest of its games to have a shot at the College Football Playoff, and the Mean Green will present a legitimate test for the Memphis defense.

Memphis is coming off a 21-3 win over South Florida, and it was another game where the Tigers' defense carried the team.

On the newest edition of the Tiger Football Podcast, Tigers football beat writer Jonah Dylan and Tigers basketball beat writer Jason Munz recap Memphis' win over South Florida and look ahead to the North Texas game.

At the halfway point of the season, they also look back on what Memphis has done so far and lay out a few priorities for the next six games.
