Memphis vs USF: Final score, highlights in game moved to Orlando after Hurricane Milton

It wasn’t pretty in any sense of the word, but Memphis earned a 21-3 win over USF on Saturday afternoon in Orlando.

In a game that was moved from Tampa to Orlando because of Hurricane Milton, the Tigers (5-1, 1-1 American Athletic Conference) used a dominant defense and an offense that was effective in the first quarter to earn their first conference win of the season.

With Bulls quarterback Byrum Brown injured and on crutches on the sideline, backup Bryce Archie couldn’t get anything going against the Memphis defense. The Tigers scored 14 quick points in the first quarter, and that proved to be enough.

Though their offensive success dried up after that, the Tigers’ defense held the Bulls (2-4, 0-2) in check and added more points when Chandler Martin recovered a fumble in the end zone.

The Tigers now head back to Memphis for back-to-back home games against North Texas and Charlotte.
