Marvin Harrison Jr. does not work out at Ohio State football pro day
Marvin Harrison Jr. did not work out at Ohio State’s pro day on Wednesday.
Harrison, the former Buckeyes star wide receiver and Biletnikoff Award winner, only watched drills while off to the side at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
The move was not unexpected. While Harrison is believed to be healthy as he prepares for the league’s draft next month, he also skipped workouts at the scouting combine in Indianapolis a few weeks ago.
Projected to be selected near the top of the draft, with various mock draft pegging him in the top-five as the first non-quarterback to go off the board, his stock is likely secure.
Representatives from NFL teams did see Harrison catch passes from quarterback C.J. Stroud at last year’s pro day in Columbus.
A dynamic 6-foot-4 pass catcher, Harrison broke out as a sophomore for the Buckeyes in 2022 and pulled in 144 receptions for 2,474 yards and 28 touchdowns over the last two seasons. He forwent his remaining season of eligibility in January to enter the draft.
