Report: Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. to sit out NFL Combine testing
Marvin Harrison Jr. is projected to be one of the first players selected in the 2024 NFL draft. And heading into the NFL Combine, the former Ohio State wide receiver is reportedly letting his reputation speak for itself.
According to Sports Illustrated, Harrison will be in Indianapolis for the NFL Combine, but only speak with teams and not participate in the testing. Harrison is also not expected to participate in Pro Day testing.

"All signs show Harrison’s plan is to continue working out in Columbus, Ohio with Buckeye strength and conditioning tycoon Mickey Marotti, among others, to prepare not to run a 40-yard dash, but play football in the fall," Sports Illustrated reporter Albert Breer writes.

At Ohio State, Harrison was a two-time All-American, the reigning Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and Biletnikoff Award winner, and a 2023 Heisman Trophy finalist.
He is the only Ohio State receiver to have multiple 1,000-yard seasons, and leaves with the third-most touchdown catches in OSU history with 31. Harrison is one of four Ohio State wide receivers to eclipse 30 touchdown receptions along with Chris Olave, David Boston and Devin Smith.

ESPN's latest NFL mock draft has Harrison as the first non-quarterback off the board.
Per ESPN Insider Field Yates, Harrison would go to the Arizona Cardinals at No. 4 overall behind Southern California quarterback Caleb Williams (Chicago Bears), LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels (Washington Commanders) and North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye (New England Patriots.
Harrison would be the second Ohio State first-round pick to be selected by the Cardinals in the past two drafts after offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. went No. 6 overall in 2023.
Harrison would also be Ohio State's second-straight top-five selection after quarterback C.J. Stroud went No. 2 overall to the Houston Texans in 2023.
