Chris Olave passes David Boston for most touchdown receptions in program history | Watch
Ohio State senior Chris Olave made Ohio State football history on Saturday against No. 7 Michigan State. Needing just one touchdown to tie David Boston for the most in program history, Olave hauled in the first score of the game to give Ohio State a 7-0 lead in the first quarter.
Then he gave Ohio State a 21-0 lead with his second score later in the quarter.
Olave now has 35 career touchdown catches for Ohio State and 13 touchdowns on the season. He entered the game with 51 receptions and coming off a nine-catch game against Purdue last week.
Boston set the record in the late 1990s with a pair of All-Big Ten seasons and an All-American campaign. Boston was later taken by the San Diego Chargers eighth overall in the 1999 NFL Draft.
Olave might have been a first round pick, but he returned to school this season and remains a highly thought of NFL draft prospect.
