Listen to FSU football fans' reaction to quarterback Brock Glenn before Clemson game
A football axiom states that fans' favorite player is the backup quarterback. Florida State showed that Saturday night when Brock Glenn stepped in for DJ Uiagalelei.
Uiagalelei is out for the big game against No. 14 Clemson after breaking his finger last week at SMU. The former Clemson quarterback hasn't exactly been a fan favorite in Tallahassee, completing less than 54% of his passes for four touchdowns and six interceptions.
His injury paved the way for Glenn, a redshirt freshman who is 0 for 4 so far this season. That doesn't matter to FSU fans, who cheered loudly when he was announced as the starting QB.

By comparison, here's how Uiagalelei was greeted before FSU's last home game two weeks ago, which, by the way, ended with a 14-9 win.

Time will tell how long the good vibes will last around Glenn. Who knows, chants might be coming for Luke Kromenhoek next.
