Listen to FSU football fans' reaction to quarterback DJ Uiagalelei before Cal game
It isn't often the home team boos their own starting quarterback. That's a look into how Florida State fans feel about DJ Uiagalelei.
The Clemson and Oregon State transfer has not performed well in his first three games as FSU starting quarterback. Uiagalelei has thrown for 666 yards with a .566 completion percentage and just one touchdown against two interceptions heading into Saturday night's game against California.
FSU has fallen from No. 10 in the preseason Coaches Poll to 0-3 and hoping to end the season bowl eligible. It doesn't help that he was replacing the beloved Jordan Travis, who suffered a brutal leg injury that cut his final season in Tallahassee short — a season that saw FSU start 13-0.
Still, listen to the Doak Campbell Stadium crowd react to Uiagalelei be introduced as the Seminoles' starting quarterback:

FSU's rough start has not been all Uiagalelei's fault. The defense has been gashed by the running games of Georgia Tech, Boston College and Memphis. And last week, multiple FSU receivers have dropped easy passes that could have pulled the offense out of its season-long funk.
But fans have been calling for backup QB Brock Glenn since FSU's home opener on Sept. 2. And while it doesn't seem coach Mike Norvell is intent on making a switch yet, there's a long way to go before fans start changing their mind.
