Florida State football fans were not doing well vs. Memphis pretty much from the start.

On the second play of the game, running back Roydell Williams took a big hit from An'Darius Coffey and fumbled, with Chandler Martin recovering for the Tigers at the FSU 25-yard line.

Memphis was held to a field goal, but DJ Uiagalelei and the Seminoles' offense continued to look limp. When ESPN came back from a commercial break before the ensuing kickoff, TV audiences were greeted to a Seminoles fan in the stands in a garnet polo and bright red wig, drinking a water bottle and displaying a sign around his neck with one simple message: "We are cooked."

FSU would go three-and-out with two penalties on the drive. That's about how the season has gone for the Seminoles, who started ranked No. 10 before losses to Georgia Tech and Boston College has them still seeking their first win.

DJ Uiagalelei struggles continue

Uiagalelei started 5 of 5 for just 7 yards in the first quarter. He finally uncorked a deep ball before the end of the first quarter, but he was hit as he threw, leading to a wobbly pass that was easily intercepted.

While the defense looked better early, linebackers Justin Cryer and Cam Riley both left the field with injuries. Receiver Jalen Brown also got injured on a screen pass.

ESPN cameras spotted multiple FSU fans wearing paper bags over their heads with "0-12?" written in black ink.

Florida State fans react to Memphis game

Former FSU quarterback Jordan Travis replied to criticism of the team from former teammate Wyatt Rector: "They need our support more than anything right now. They are hurting more than us right now."

Here's a look at some other FSU football fans' reactions during the game on social media:

Memphis held on to beat FSU 20-12, sending the Seminoles to an 0-3 start.
