Florida State football is off to its third 0-3 start in program history and the second under coach Mike Norvell.

FSU lost 20-12 on Saturday to No. 25 Memphis as a season that started with College Football Playoff hopes seems all but over midway through September. New quarterback DJ Uiagalelei threw for 182 yards and an interception, and the Seminoles have the worst scoring offense in the ACC.

Jordan Travis, the quarterback on last year's team that started 13-0 and won the ACC, asked fans for patience and support for the current team on social media during the game.

"I understand the feeling bruh," the current New York Jets quarterback said in response to a post from former teammate Wyatt Rector on social media, "but we have been there before. They need our support more than anything right now. They are hurting more than us right now."

Travis later responded to a fan's criticism of the post: "No disrespect, but I was talking to a former teammate. Fans are going to be fans, I understand that." He later deleted the post.
