Former FSU football, current Jets quarterback Jordan Travis on the sidelines vs Cal

Jordan Travis is back on Florida State's campus.

The FSU great and current New York Jets quarterback will be on the sidelines for the Seminoles (0-3) game vs. Cal (3-0). The Jets played on Thursday, beating the Patriots 24-3 at Metlife Stadium.

Travis led FSU to an 11-0 start in 2023 before his gruesome injury vs. North Alabama sidelined him for the remainder of the year. Travis went 28-9 as a starter for the Seminoles, recording 8,644 passing yards and throwing for 65 touchdowns.

Travis was spotted on campus with 2026 FSU quarterback commit Brady Smigiel before kickoff against the Golden Bears.

He has not played since his injury vs. North Alabama, but he participated in Jets training camp this season.

He was integral in the rise of FSU under head coach Mike Norvell and the Seminoles have struggled since his departure.

FSU played Tate Rodemaker and Brock Glenn in the final three games of the season in 2023 after Travis's injury. Rodemaker started vs. Florida before entering the transfer portal, leaving Glenn to start the ACC Championship game vs. Lousiville and Orange Bowl vs. Georgia.
