IndyCar Series starting grid for Bitnile.com Grand Prix at Portland

Santino Ferrucci at Portland International Raceway in August 2024

The IndyCar Series sets the lineup for its final road-course stop of the season at Portland International Raceway, where a 110-lap race on the 12-turn, 1.964-mile layout awaits.

Santino Ferrucci, whose seat at A.J. Foyt Racing isn't assured for 2025, pulls off a stunning pole position run. That's his career first and the team's first since 2014, when Takuma Sato got P1 at Detroit's Belle Isle.

Will Power, the career king of IndyCar qualifying, is on the outside of the front row, and series points leader Alex Palou is third.

Kyle Kirkwood qualified fifth, and 2023 Portland pole winner Graham Rahal sixth. However, both will move back six places for Sunday's race for unapproved engine changes.
