Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark wins this WNBA honor for second straight week
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has won WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week for a second straight week.
From Aug. 26-Sept. 1, Clark averaged 24.3 points, 9.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. Clark set the rookie record for most made 3-pointers in a season with a shot against the Connecticut Sun last week.
The rookie sensation enters this week with 98 3-pointers. If she surpasses 100 3s, Clark would become just the eighth player in league history to accomplish that feat.

In a 100-81 blowout win over the Chicago Sky, Clark had 31 points and 12 assists. Against the Dallas Wings, Clark contributed 28 points, 12 assists and 4 rebounds.
Clark has already been named the WNBA Rookie of the Month (May and July) this season as well.
Aliyah Boston is the only other member of the Fever to be named Eastern Conference Player of the Week this season.
