Here's what Caitlin Clark said after another double-double, Fever win over Dallas Wings

Caitlin Clark put on a show in the Indiana Fever's 100-93 victory over the Dallas Wings on Sunday. The rookie star scored 28 points and had 12 assists as the Fever went over .500 for the first time since 2019.

The Fever are now 17-16 and sixth in the WNBA playoffs picture (top eight make it).

Here's what Clark said following Sunday afternoon's win:

On setting the Fever rookie scoring record, surpassing Tamika Catchings:

"It’s obviously cool. But we play basketball the right way. It’s fun. We’ve been winning. That’s what makes this better. We're playing so much better basketball than even a month ago, before the break. It feels like our chemistry is better. Everything flows better. It feels better.

It’s cool (to set the record). There's been a lot of really good players to put on this jersey and to be mentioned with some of them is special."

On the 6-1 streak the Fever is on since the break:

"We still have a lot of challenges left. We're fighting to get into the playoffs, our goal since Day 1. Every single one matters for (playoff) positioning. These opportunities end very fast. Not taking it for granted."

On the defense after the Fever outscored the Wings 13-4 over the final 4:20:

"You've got to be able to score with them. We tried our best on defense but I was really proud of the last 5 minutes, when we played our best defense and that’s when it really mattered for us. It was last 5 minutes when we came up with huge stops, made out free throws and (Kelsey Mitchell) made some big buckets for us."
