FSU softball game today delayed by rain. Here's the new NCAA tournament schedule
The Florida State softball team will have to wait to play their NCAA softball tournament game Saturday.
FSU vs. UCF was scheduled to start play in the Tallahassee Regional at 1 p.m., but storms in the area delayed the start of play back a few hours. The No. 15-seeded Seminoles will now play the Knights at 5 p.m. in the winner's bracket. The winner of that game will move on to Sunday's regional championship.
The elimination game between Chattanooga and Auburn is now scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m., or about 30 minutes after the conclusion of FSU-UCF. The winner of that game will face the loser of FSU-UCF either late tonight or early Sunday for a spot in the regional championship. By NCAA rule, no game can begin after 11 p.m.
