FSU football depth chart vs. Clemson: DJ Uiagalelei, Brock Glenn listed as co-starters
Florida State football released its depth chart for a rivalry showdown vs. Clemson.
The Seminoles (1-4) are coming off another disappointing loss, falling to SMU 42-16 in Dallas, Texas. FSU welcomes a Clemson (3-1) team to town that is red hot, winning three straight since its season-opening blowout loss to Georgia.
After being replaced in the fourth quarter vs. the Mustangs, quarterback DJ Uiagalelei is no longer the only quarterback on the top of the depth chart. Brock Glenn was listed as another potential starter for Clemson.
Mike Norvell said that Uiagalelei had some issues with his hand after his final play, the 82-yard pick-six. Norvell said he decided to replace Uiagalelei after the interception.
He said he would evaluate the quarterbacks this week in practice and monitor Uiagalelei's health before making a decision.
Uiagalelei went 12-of-30, throwing for 222 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions, including one pick-six. Glenn did not complete a pass in the two drives he played.
There are significant changes to the depth chart on offense. Norvell announced that Richie Leonard IV is out for the season with an injury, resulting in shifts to the offensive line.
There are three potential starters listed at tight end, with freshman Landen Thomas potentially getting his first start vs. Clemson.
FSU hosts Clemson on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 7 p.m. at Doak Campbell Stadium.
