Here's why FSU football has listed DJ Uiagalelei, Brock Glenn as co-starters vs. Clemson

Florida State football has listed both DJ Uiagalelei and Brock Glenn as potential starters at quarterback for Saturday's game vs. Clemson.
According to head coach Mike Norvell, Uiagaleleli suffered a finger injury in the 42-16 loss to SMU. He said the injury will be monitored this week and that a decision on who will start will be made after practice.
"DJ has something we are going to evaluate over the course of the week," Norvell said Monday. "We will see how it goes from there."
However, on Monday evening, ESPN's Pete Thamel reported that Uiagalelei suffered a broken finger on his throwing hand. An FSU athletics department spokesperson told The Tallahassee Democrat late Monday that "we expect DJ to be unavailable this week."
247Sports first reported Monday that Uiagalelei would be sidelined long-term due to his injured finger.
Uiagalelei was replaced by Glenn in the fourth quarter vs. SMU following an 82-yard pick-six.
Norvell said despite the injury to Uiagalelei, he made the choice to replace him to see what Glenn could offer following the interception.
Norvell added that he would have listed an "or" next to each starter's name if he could. He said he doesn't put too much stock into depth charts.
"I really don’t care about a depth chart, to be honest with you. It really means nothing," Norvell said. "DJ couldn't finish the game. I said that I was going to put Brock in at that moment, too, but obviously right now there is a little bit of uncertainty in status."
"We'll see what that looks like as the week goes on. But doesn't really matter what I put on a depth chart."
Uiagalelei went 12-of-30, throwing for 222 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions, including the pick-six. In his two drives leading the Seminoles offense, Glenn went 0-4.
It has been a rough start to Uiagalelei's FSU career. He has recorded 1,065 yards, going 84-of-156 for four touchdowns and six interceptions in five games.
Before replacing Uiagalelei, Glenn last saw action in the 63-3 loss to Georgia in the Orange Bowl. In that game, he went 9-for-26, for 139 yards and two interceptions.
FSU plays Clemson on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Doak Campbell Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
