Free agent C Connor Williams deciding between Ravens and Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks have been courting free agent center Connor Williams for nearly two weeks now. On July 23rd, it was reported the Seahawks hosted Williams for a visit as it was the start of their training camp this summer. The very next day, similar reporting from ESPN's Adam Schefter stated the two sides had begun negotiating. The day after that was head coach Mike Macdonald explaining how great a visit it was and how much they value his positional flexibility.
Since then? Not a whole lot of information... until now. The Seahawks have remained interested in Williams, but it appears they are not the only ones. Schefter reported on Monday that Williams has met with the Baltimore Ravens - Macdonald's former team - as well, and is weighing the options.
Free-agent offensive lineman Connor Williams visited the Ravens today. He is said to be considering both the Ravens and Seahawks proposals right now and “should make a decision soon.”

I'm sure the Seahawks are remaining active in these negotiations behind the scene, doing what they can to entice Williams to decide with them. Hopefully, they can be successful. Olu Oluwatimi is a tantilizing prospect, but he had such limited reps as a rookie last year. Adding someone like Williams to the mix - a veteran who has started in 77 out of 83 possible games in the NFL - would go a long way to shoring up the interior of Seattle's offensive line.
