Maybe we should rename the Tennessee Titans to the Tennessee Seahawks, as yet another former Seattle safety has found himself a home in the Music City. During the middle of July, Jamal Adams signed a one-year deal with the Titans. Now, he will have a familiar face next to him in the Tennessee secondary.

Former Seahawks safety Quandre Diggs has signed himself a one-year deal with the Titans, only this is worth $5 million compared to Adams' veteran minimum. But like Adams, Tennessee has become the third NFL home for the veteran safety.

Diggs was ultimately a cap casualty for the Seahawks this offseason when they released him in March. However, there was always the slim chance he could have found his way back to Seattle, as the team was not "shutting the door" on any player they moved on from.

But now, it is evident this door is firmly closed. Diggs moves to the AFC for the first time in his career, and should make an impact on one of the weaker rosters in the league. Diggs is an iron man, starting in all 76 possible games with Seattle. Last season, he had 95 total tackles but only one interception - his lowest toal since becoming a Seahawk.

Still, the 31-year-old safety has plenty left of gas left in the tank. With Adams and Diggs reuinted in Tennessee, the Titans will be a little more difficult to score on in the AFC South.

One final note: the Seahawks will face the Titans in Tennessee for their second preseason game, as well as a few joint practices.

We at Seahawks Wire wish the pair of former Seahawks the best of luck in the next chapters in their respective careers with the Titans.
