Former Titans star Taylor Lewan looks for catfish before Predators-Canucks NHL playoffs game

X marked the spot where former Tennessee Titans offensive lineman Taylor Lewan went fishing Sunday morning.

Catfishing.

Lewan hinted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that he may be in attendance at Bridgestone Arena on Sunday when the Nashville Predators face the Vancouver Canucks in Game 4 of the NHL playoffs series.

"Might need a catfish today, can't say why.

"Can anyone get me a catfish asap"

Lewan sent the tweet to his 247,000 followers a little after 10 a.m. Sunday.

Should Lewan show up at Bridgestone with a catfish, it wouldn't be the first time he played at part in the tradition.

During a playoff game against the Winnipeg Jets in 2018, Lewan, some of his offensive linemates and then-Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota were decked out in Predators sweaters when they slammed beers, much to the delight of the crowd. Lewan shotgunned one while a teammate poured the beer onto the catfish.

Lewan, who spent all nine seasons of his career with the Titans, then opened another Bud Lite tallboy with his teeth, squeezed the can and sprayed beer all over his face and into his mouth.

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, a friend of Predators forward Filip Forsberg, chugged a beer Friday during Game 3.
