Former Tennessee Titans' Taylor Lewan at season finale, tries to tackle Mike Vrabel pregame

Former Tennessee Titans offensive tackle Taylor Lewan is back at Nissan Stadium.

Lewan, along with "Bussin' With the Boys" podcast co-host and former Titans linebacker Will Compton, is in attendance for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Both were wearing Oilers-branded gear on the sideline during pregame, with Lewan sporting a snazzy Oilers jacket. The two former Titans embraced coach Mike Vrabel as he entered the field for warm-ups.

Vrabel looked happy to see both, despite Lewan's takedown attempt.

Lewan was released by the Titans following the 2022 season after nine seasons and three Pro Bowls, and he did not play in the 2023 season. The former left tackle has left his official retirement status up in the air, though Lewan does not look ready to play offensive line in the NFL anytime soon. Compton played parts of two seasons with the Titans, in 2019 and 2020 near the end of a nine-year career with three teams.

Even with Lewan clearly looking slimmer, the Titans could use the former Pro Bowl offensive tackle against Jaguars edge rushers Josh Allen and Travon Walker and their combined 25.5 sacks this season.

Instead, Lewan will settle for the tackle attempt of Vrabel pregame and a chance to watch former teammates Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill in what could be their final game as Titans on Sunday.
