Florida State football fans want to see these improvements in Monday's game vs Boston College
Like their head coach, Florida State football fans were direct in their observations concerning the Seminoles.
Last Wednesday, Mike Norvell said it was "sickening" that his team came up short to Georgia Tech in the season opener in Dublin, Ireland.
No. 10 FSU lost 24-21 after Aidan Birr made a 44-yard field goal as time expired. The double-digit favored Seminoles saw their Atlantic Coast Conference winning streak snapped at 12 games dating back to 2022.
FSU fans are looking for specific improvements in the Seminoles' home opener against Boston College Labor Day Monday. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.

While FSU has won nine consecutive home games, the 5th-longest active streak in the nation, and enter as a double-digit favorite, fans don't appear to be taking anything for granted.
"Play physical up front on both sides," former FSU lineman (1985-89) Tony Yeomans posted on social media. "That’s how you win games!"

FSU had four scoring drives out of seven possessions against the Yellow Jackets, but just one in the second half.
Georgia Tech controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. DJ Uiagalelei completed 19 of 27 passes for 193 yards in his FSU debut, completing mostly shorter passes until two late fourth-down completions that tied the game in the fourth quarter.
'Play the vertical pass game. Georgia Tech saw we were not going downfield so they packed the box to stop the run," said Forrest Conoly, a former FSU (1991-95) and NFL offensive lineman and current college football analyst.
"The defensive line all potential 1st rounders on paper need to play like 1st rounders. They lost the battle across the board in Ireland. If they dominate at the point of attack like they should every game the linebackers can flow downhill."

Boston College enters its season opener with a new head coach in Bill O'Brien. The Eagles are led by elusive quarterback Thomas Castellanos, who last season rushed for 1,113 yards, the second-most among all FBSquarterbacks.
FSU fans appear to be in agreement and want their team to demonstrate more physicality.
"The defense had shades of (Adam) Fuller's first year here (as defensive coordinator), " Marc Bauer said. "They have to clean that up. Establish the running game. Let DJ make some throws and mistakes downfield. Get Lucas more touches. Play infinitely more physical and both lines. BC is a fist fight."
