Is De'Von Achane playing Thursday? Injury updates on Miami Dolphins running backs vs Bills
Who will be the Miami Dolphins' starting running back Thursday night against the Buffalo Bills?
De'Von Achane is battling an ankle injury, and Raheem Mostert has a chest injury. There's a chance the Dolphins go into an important early AFC East game without their top two running backs.
That would put the pressure on quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and receiver Tyreek Hill to keep up with Bills quarterback Josh Allen in a Week 2 showdown.

Here's what we know about the Dolphins' injuries:
Is De'Von Achane playing tonight?
De'Von Achane has been battling an ankle injury, but he is active for Thursday's game. He was listed as questionable during the week.
Achane had 10 carries for just 28 yards in Sunday's season opener, but he did run for a touchdown and caught all seven targets for 76 yards.
Achane appeared to be moving well in the portion of Wednesday's practice open to media. Coach Mike McDaniel said he would wait and see on his availability for Thursday.

"There are several guys we'll be feeling out and go from there," McDaniel said.
Is Raheem Mostert playing tonight?
Raheem Mostert was ruled out on Wednesday as he recovers from a chest injury. In Sunday's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, he played through an injury not many people would have, McDaniel said.
"He gave his teammates another example of how he's built differently," McDaniel said, adding it could be a week or could be bit longer.
Mostert notched just six carries for 9 yards and had two receptions for 10 yards.
Will Jeff Wilson Jr. or Jaylen Wright play tonight?
The Dolphins have good depth at running back, with veteran Jeff Wilson, who helped close out a defeat of the Jaguars on Sunday, and Jaylen Wright, an impressive rookie who was a healthy scratch.
In Week 1, Wilson had five carries for 26 yards, including the team's longest run of the day for 14 yards. He was not targeted in the passing game.
Wright, a speedy fourth-round draft pick out of Tennessee, averaged 5.4 yards on 17 rushing attempts in the preseason.
