Detroit Lions K Jake Bates named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week

For the fourth time in five weeks, the Detroit Lions have an NFC Player of the Week.

Lions kicker Jake Bates was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week on Wednesday after kicking the game-winning 44-yard field goal with 15 seconds left in the Lions' 31-29 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Bates is a perfect 10-for-10 on field goals this season and has made 20 of 21 extra points.
