Confidence is needed at the quarterback position, but Colorado State starter Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi chose a questionable time to display his during Saturday's Rocky Mountain Showdown.

With his Rams down 14-3 late in the second quarter, the redshirt sophomore ran for a one-yard gain before directing the "too small" gesture toward Colorado football star Travis Hunter. Taunting one of the best players in college football while trailing by two scores earned Fowler-Nicolosi plenty of criticism on social media, as you'd expect.

Hunter soon got his revenge when he intercepted a Fowler-Nicolosi pass late in the third quarter.
