By nearly all measures, Colorado football's first offensive drive of the 2024 season couldn't have gone much better. The Buffs got true freshman Drelon Miller involved early and kept quarterback Shedeur Sanders upright before Travis Hunter capped off the six-play drive with a 41-yard touchdown catch.

Hunter, an early Heisman Trophy candidate, received the pass from Sanders at about North Dakota State's 37-yard line, easily evaded Bison cornerback Marcus Sheppard and went untouched into the end zone for Colorado's first score of the year.

The touchdown marked the sixth of Hunter's Colorado career.
