Clemson football's Week 7 start time, TV vs Wake Forest announced for road ACC game
CLEMSON — Clemson football has an official start time for its second road ACC game.
The ACC announced Monday that the No. 14-ranked Tigers (3-1, 2-0 ACC) will face Wake Forest (1-3, 0-1) at noon ET on Saturday, Oct. 12, at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium and will air nationally on ESPN.
This will be the 90th all-time meeting between the programs. Clemson defeated the Demon Deacons 17-12 last year, extending its win streak to 15 against them. The Tigers lead the all-time series 71-17-1 with their last loss happening in 2008.
The Tigers rose to No. 14 in the coaches poll and No. 15 in the AP poll after defeating Stanford. They face Florida State on the road in their third conference game this Saturday before traveling to Wake Forest.
The Deacons will battle NC State on the road Saturday in their second ACC game before hosting Clemson on Oct. 12.
