Bills avoid injury scare to All-Pro cornerback against Dolphins
The Buffalo Bills are already playing without starting cornerback Christian Benford on Sunday. All-Pro nickel back Taron Johnson went down with an injury in the second quarter against the Miami Dolphins.
Johnson grabbed his arm after a play with 6:10 remaining in the second quarter. Johnson was looked at by medical staff but jogged off the field and stretched along the sideline.
Johnson didn't take off his helmet or go into the medical tent. He missed three plays before returning.
Johnson injured his forearm seven plays into the season and missed the next four games. The Bills are on a three-game winning streak since his return in Week 6.
