Alabama football, Kalen DeBoer land Justin Hill, an edge rusher in 2025 recruiting class
Alabama football landed its first commitment from the edge rush position for its 2025 recruiting cycle in four-star Justin Hill, Hill announced on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound prospect out of Cincinnati, Ohio, chose the Crimson Tide over 23 other offers, including finalists Ohio State, Oregon and USC. The 247Sports Composite has Hill tabbed as the fourth-ranked prospect in Ohio and the fourth-ranked edge rusher in the 2025 cycle.
Nationally, Hill ranks as the No. 58 prospect in the 2025 class.
Prior to Hill's commitment, Kalen DeBoer's 2025 recruiting class ranked second in the nation per the 247Sports Composite. He is the 22nd commitment in the class and the second in 24 hours, following four-star tight end Kaleb Edward's commitment on Tuesday.

During his junior season at Winston Woods High School, Hill tallied 36 tackles, 16 of those for loss, along with 13 sacks and two forced fumbles.
Hill took an unofficial visit to the Capstone on April 13 but took his official visit over the weekend of June 14.
