'World's most beautiful girl' is all grown up on the Michael Kors front row
The name Thylane Blondeau may not mean much to you but the image of the then 10-year-old girl heavily made-up on the pages of Vogue Paris may ring a bell.
At the age of four, Blondeau made her catwalk debut, walking in Jean Paul Gaultier’s show. When she was six, she covered Vogue Enfants: a children’s supplement that featured in the French issue.
At the grand old age of 10, the model appeared in the infamous Vogue Paris shoot that was criticised for ‘sexualising’ a child.
Now, Blondeau is 16 and making her debut on the New York Fashion Week circuit.
Not on the catwalk this time but the front row.
The teenager appeared at the Michael Kors show on Wednesday night wearing a leopard print shirt and olive green trousers by the American designer. Carrying a mega-expensive crocodile bag worth over £6,000, Blondeau’s entire outfit totalled at around £8,050.
Blondeau is now signed to major model agency, IMG, and has appeared in Dolce & Gabbana’s SS17 campaign alongside Zendaya and Lucky Blue Smith.
She also starred in the Italian label’s AW17 show and is a brand ambassador for L’Oreal.
This is certainly one girl to watch out for.
