Woman's horror as Tinder date tells her to 'get plastic surgery'
A woman has shared an almost unbelievable set of ‘tips’ she received from a guy she met through Tinder – three months after their ‘disaster date’.
Kimberley Latham-Hawkesford took to Facebook to share screenshots of a message she received from a guy she had matched with on the dating app.
The 24-year-old, from the UK, had gone on one date with the man – let’s call him Jim – and revealed he came across as a “snob and “just generally a horrible person”.
She told LADbible that the date was a disaster. And when she received a list of ‘tips’ three months later, she was ‘absolutely mortified’.

“It killed my confidence, but the more I read it the funnier it became,” she told the publication. “I couldn’t understand how a guy could say such things to a woman.”
Posting the shocking message on social media she wrote, “Imagine being so far up your own a** you’d send this to a girl three months after a date”.
“Hello Kimberley, I know we went on a date quite a while ago now but I’d like to explain why I haven’t messaged you,” Jim started off.
“I feel like you could have made the date much better, here’s a few reasons why. I apologise if I offend you.”
The ensuing list of 15 ‘tips’ makes us not surprised in the slightest that Jim is still single. Many of them focus on her physical appearance, and he first tells Kimberley she needs to lose some weight, use fake tan, and show more cleavage.
“I think you need to wear clothes that suit your figure and maybe update your style slightly. Just so I’m not embarrassed to be seen with you,” the advice continued.

Then things get a little confusing as he tells her to dye her hair a more natural colour – but use hair extensions because “long hair is more attractive”, but she needs “to look more natural” and “stop wearing make up”, before suggesting cosmetic procedures.
“Your lips have gone down so you should think of getting more filler. I know you said you regretted it but filler would make you sexier,” he said.
He goes on to say she needs to be “more confident” and “more sensitive to others’ feelings”. That she is a “prude” and “needs to get a sense of humour”.
Obviously of the belief that he is – using MAFS‘ Cyrell’s apt term – ‘King-ding-a-ling’, he goes on to say that if she heeds his advice he might even consider a second date.
“If you take these on board I might consider another date. I will give you a month and get back in touch to see if this made a difference. Good day to you Kimberly.”
Understandably, the reaction to the messages was one of outrage, shock, and sheer disbelief, with many commenting on ways she could get revenge on Jim.
“I’d agree to another date and once he turned up I’d order the biggest, most expensive meal on the menu, ask for it in a take away container and leave him with the bill, leaving without a goodbye. A**hole deserves his time wasted,” was one suggestion.

“Is this bloke for real,” one person asked.
“Me: Hello [Jim], I know we went on a date quite a while ago now but I’d like to explain why I haven’t messaged you either. 1) you’re a piece of s***…that’s all.”
Since sharing the post online Kimberley has received thousands of comments in support.
“Wow what a d***. No girl should have to change anything for a man. You’re beautiful how you are and he’s just too dumb to see that,” one person wrote.
Kimberley, who has been on Tinder since November 2018, told Yahoo UK she is baffled by her date’s decision to get in touch months after their original date.
“I genuinely do not know [why he contacted], I’d like to know myself as he could have sent it straight after the date.
However, the incident has not put Kimberley, who has been on Tinder since November 2018, off dating.
She said: “It hasn’t put me off as I’ve had a couple of really nice dates since so I know it isn’t all bad.”
