Woman Changes Body In Two Weeks, Proving There’s Still Time To Shape Up Before Holiday
When booking our summer holidays earlier this year, we knew it was probably time to get our workout gear back on so we could shape up in time. But before we knew it, it was already summer, and way too late.
Or perhaps not, as one woman has proven that you can tone up in just a couple of weeks.
Carly Cardellino wrote on Cosmopolitan how she was happy with her weight, but wanted to get a little more toned after falling behind on her previously active lifestyle.
And after two weeks of an intensive workout regime, she lost a few pounds and eight inches - but importantly came out of it way, way more toned.

“Growing up, I ran track, played volleyball, basketball, and soccer, was a pole vaulter, took ballet, tap, and jazz, and was a cheerleader from middle school into my first year of college,” she said.
“But after I graduated, got a job, was no longer practicing a sport 24/7, and was working long hours, I was lucky if I had the energy to drag myself to the gym at the end of the day.”
So when her friend invited her to a high intensity training class, she threw herself into what she described as “working your ass off in the gym for two weeks — all while drinking zero alcohol”.

After analysing her wee (yep) to figure out what her body was absorbing or storing as fat, she was given a list of foods and meals she should or shouldn’t eat.
Then came the intensive training around six times per week, and she said she “started seeing results after the first week (toned abs, a stronger core, and after my clothing started fitting better)”.
“I could see how my body changed — but more importantly, I could feel how it changed. My stomach never felt bloated when I ate, my muscles felt strong, my core was toned, and my mind honestly felt really clear. “
