Woman 37 weeks pregnant challenges husband to workout, totally beats him
If you were 37 weeks pregnant, how would you spend your day?
Probably not engaging in competitive workouts with your husband, that’s for sure.
Anna Strode, a blogger and mum, is getting close to giving birth but hasn’t given up her exercise regime for a moment.
Though you can imagine that from carrying that extra weight, things have got rather a lot more challenging.

So to prove it to her husband just how difficult carrying the extra weight is, the two competed in a kettle bell squat workout to end all kettle bell squat workouts – her with her bump, him with a six kilogram weighted ball strapped to his stomach.
“Challenged the hubby to a #pregnancyworkout,” she wrote alongside the video on Instagram.
“Let’s just say it didn’t go so well…
“His response as soon as we taped the weighted ball to him was ‘OH OUCH, this really hurts your back hey’ and yep – that’s the reason women have babies and not men.”

It’s not long before you see him tiring in the clip, and just as he begins to try some squat jumps, the weight falls off his stomach, ending the workout.
Not a bad try though.
Despite how far along the pregnancy she is, Strode is “still trying my hardest to get a workout in when I can”:
“Not going to lie – exhaustion is starting to hit an ALL TIME LOW and for most of the day, I struggle to keep my eyes open,” she wrote in another post.
“POWERING on though because that’s what us mamas do.”
