Victoria Beckham covers British Vogue with her four children – but David is noticeably absent
Victoria Beckham and her children star on the cover of British Vogue‘s October issue, to mark 10 years of the designer’s eponymous fashion label.
The former Spice Girl, 44, graces the cover alongside her brood of four: Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 13, Harper, seven.

But while the family’s beloved cocker spaniel, Olive, made the cut, Victoria’s husband, David, didn’t.
Fans quickly took to social media to ask why the former footballer was absent.
One Instagram user wrote: “Beautiful family. Where’s David? Why did u leave him out? [sic]”
Another joked: “The dog made it, but David didn’t.”

And another said: “How can it be a Beckham cover without David?”
Despite being absent from the cover, David features on the subscriber’s issue cover, smoulding alongside his wife in the black and white shot.
He also appears in a shot alongside his entire family (Olive included), depicting the children playing with water guns.

In the accompanying interview, Victoria addresses rumours about the state of her 19-year marriage.
“People have been making things up about our relationship for 20 years, so David and I are pretty used to ignoring the nonsense and just carrying on as normal,” she said.
“But these things have a wider effect on the people around us, and that’s unfair.”
Back in June, the famous couple were forced to release a statement regarding rumours of a divorce, calling them ‘Chinese whispers’.
The comments came after rumours swirled online that the pair were to split, after top bookies slashed the odds and stopped taking bets altogether.

Speaking about ‘Brand Beckham’, Victoria said: “We both realise that we are stronger together than we are as individuals. Would either of us be in the position that we are in now had we not met and been together all those years ago? It’s all about the family unit.
“We are much stronger – the six of us – than we would be if we were individuals. We respect that family bond and that is key.”
After posting the cover on her own Instagram, David commented on Victoria’s post, saying: “So proud of everything Victoria has achieved in business being a leader but her biggest achievement is what you see in this photo”.
David followed his sweet comments with love heart emojis and tagged his four children.

British Vogue editor-in-chief, Edward Enninful, calls the Beckhams ‘Britain’s second royal family’ in his editor’s letter.
“Beyond the paparazzi flashbulbs, masterful personal branding, social-media savvy, and fashion and sporting prowess, lies the day-to-day business of family life,” he writes.

As part of the issue, Victoria took part in a satirical video for the publication in which she celebrates “one of the most enduring style icons of all time – me, Victoria Beckham.”
In the humorous video, Victoria dresses up as Cat Woman before unearthing some of her most iconic Posh Spice looks.
