Vera Wang, 70, amazes followers with youthful Instagram photos
It’s hard not to do a double take at 70-year-old Vera Wang.
The youthful-looking fashion designer has been posting a slew of age-defying posts on Instagram, leaving fans amazed she’s a septuagenarian.
Wang has been keeping her Instagram account up to date during the coronavirus lockdown, with plenty of photos of her wearing designer garments.
A few recent photos, though, have fans questioning how she maintains such a flawless appearance at 70-years-old.
Although we suspect genetics plays a part in Wang’s appearance, she has been kind enough to divulge some of her youthful secrets, too.

After one Twitter user said they’ll “have whatever Vera Wang is drinking” the designer decided to reply letting them into her secret.
“Diet Coca Cola... typical on a NY fashion type.” She admitted.

Giving us more of an insight, she also told fans she has “work, sleep, a vodka cocktail, not much sun” to thank for her appearance.
Despite her flawless looks, Wang, like the rest of us, often feels pressure to exercise. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar US the fashion designer admitted that her “extremely fit” colleagues have pushed her to “work out most days”.
Although she’s currently in lockdown, Wang has shared plenty of fitness posts with her fans, showing her co-workers that she’s keeping up that routine during the pandemic.
“This photo depicts my personal conflict between loving athleisure clothing but dreading the treadmill!” She admitted.

Dating back to 2016, Wang also told the magazine that she tries to lift weights everyday, but she keeps it relatively light.
“Not much—two pounds and three pounds. It takes me a total of five minutes.” She explained.
A five minute workout and a vodka and coke - now here’s a fitness regime we can get on board with.
Wang does like to engage in longer forms of exercise from time to time, too, admitting to InStyle that she enjoys playing golf.
“I'm not a huge exercise person, but I love to play golf at Liberty National, in Jersey City, N. J., or at Atlantic Golf Club in the Hamptons if I happen to be out there. I'm terrible but enthusiastic.”

Ok, so we’ve covered the exercise regime, but what about everything else?
When it comes to food, Wang seems to keep things balanced for maximum impact. In the same interview with Harper’s Baazar, she said: “I go through phases with what I eat for lunch: I like sashimi with brown rice and vegetables, Chinese steamed broccoli with chicken and rice, or the artichoke salad or fish from Sant Ambroeus.”
Her one piece of golden advice, though: “Never miss a meal; I have to feed my brain."

The seemingly healthy diet is punctuated with a little indulgence every now and then, though. She’s only human.
“We have a candy pantry, a cereal pantry, and a pantry for what I call "orange food"—Cheetos, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish, all kinds of chips.”
Can we come and live with you, Vera?
No youthful-looking celebrity maintains their healthy glow without a pretty full-on self-care schedule and Wang is no exception.
As it turns out, bathing is a pretty important part of her routine.
“My evening really begins when I take a long, hot bath. I light a candle, and I turn on the news and try to catch up. It's when I can breathe from the day to the night, and that means a lot to me.”
Sounds heavenly. Now, that’s a self-care routine we can get on board with.
