Unicorn hot chocolate is the next Insta-perfect beverage we have to try
Just when we thought hot chocolate – topped with whipped cream, marshmallows, the works – couldn’t get any better, someone’s gone and made it multicoloured.
Yep, unicorn hot chocolate is taking Instagram by storm. It’s pink, covered in sprinkles, and every colour of the rainbow.

And do we spy candy floss topping? Oh yes.
Apparently, it’s as delicious (and sweet) as it looks, and people are both creating their own homemade versions and having the delight of having it served to them at cafes.

We welcome unicorn hot chocolate with open arms, to be honest. It’s nice to take a break from all that clean, healthy eating with possibly the least-clean eating ever, right?
this is how we do it #unicornhotchocolate ????????✨????

And it may be here to stay too – according to Waitrose’s predicted food trends, ‘extreme indulgences’ such as freakshakes (basically this drink’s cold chocolatey cousin) will be in vogue for 2017.

While 2016 was a bit of a mixed year overall, one thing it wasn’t was drab – the 12 months has seen all kinds of rainbow-themed things coming up on our news feeds, from rainbow coffee to hidden rainbow hair, so we hope it’s here to stay.
And remember unicorn toast?
