From Harper's BAZAAR

Silky slip skirts were one of the biggest sartorial hits of the summer, and the style's versatility (it can be worn with sandals and camisoles or boots and jumpers) is proving it to be just as popular through the winter months.

While there were many iterations - both high end and high street - none reached cult status quite to the same degree as Topshop's version. Simple and affordable, the style was launched in several summery colourways - from burnt orange to canary yellow - and promptly sold out. The retailer relaunched the style a month later, and the same happened. (Then there was a dress version, which is proving just as popular.)

Now, the hit style is back in a variety of new colourways, including a classic black, simple white, charcoal grey and soft taupe - shades that should fit seamlessly into any winter wardrobe.

Many of the original colours are also still available, as well as some printed versions - we're particular fans of the orange tiger print and the red jacquard.
