'Too few clothes': 'Sexist' bus driver shames teen passenger's outfit
A woman has slammed a “sexist” bus driver who she claimed shamed her about wearing too little clothing before kicking her off his bus.
Amanda Hansson, 19, said she was wearing shorts and a camisole top on a 27-degree day in Malmö, Sweden, when the driver singled her out, she said in interviews with local media.
The teenager was about to take her seat when she was ordered back to the front of the bus, where the man instructed her to “cover up” because she was wearing “too few clothes”.

She then said she asked the driver, “What sort of sexist s*** he was trying to pull?”, to which he continued to argue she “should cover up”.
At the time, the Skanetrafiken public bus driver apparently said her outfit did not comply with the company’s policy about dress – a claim the company later denied.
Skanetrafiken’s traffic director Linus Erixon conceded “something went wrong” in a post to Twitter.
“Of course people are welcome on board our buses and trains in shorts and a camisole,” he told local news website Sydsvenskan.
“I can confirm that the driver was not acting out of any religious or political motive.”

Mr Erixon said there were no policies in place dictating the clothing of passengers, saying “everyone should be treated equally and with respect”.
The company has reportedly formally apologised to Ms Hansson and temporarily suspended the driver from his position.
