In Tanzania, being born with albinism means being born into danger, and deeply-rooted superstitions mean those with it must live in constant fear of isolation, poverty and attack.
Which is why Marinka Masséus, a Dutch award-winning photographer, has created a beautiful and thought-provoking photo series – in collaboration with the Josephat Torner Foundation and African Albino Foundation – of Tanzanian people with Albinism.
